Few business owners have the opportunity to give up a year or more of their lives to attend a privileged institution like Harvard, Yale, MIT, London School of Economics, or the like, to gain a foundation in business management and business studies.
Most of us had to learn to run our businesses “by the seat of our pants” or in the shadow of a member of our family. Those of us that have obtained a university degree, also understand the value of learning from highly developed experts and have also benefited from that applied knowledge.
Many of the vital rudimentary lessons in Sales, Brand Communications and Marketing, Manufacturing, Administration, Franchising, Distribution etc. have come as part of our “face in the fire” learning.
